Alina Hacopian - an emerging self-taught abstract artist based in Berlin
I create, therefore I am.
I process everything in my artworks that inspires, confuses, delights, or frustrates me. I leave a piece of myself in each and every painting and try to constantly challenge my creativity. The essential medium I work with is emotion - colors, materials, and canvasses are ultimately the carriers that help me give tangible substance to those emotions.
Nothing fascinates me more than listening to people interpreting my artwork - for art doesn’t need to be understood but felt.
Alina works and experiments with different mediums but focuses on acrylics. She often incorporates mirrors in her paintings as a characteristic feature.
