Ciara McInnes is a contemporary artist and architect based in Glasgow, Scotland. Her work explores impermanence and memory, specifically in the context of abstract landscapes and the wider urban environment. Her working methods have a focus on traditional printmaking techniques and craftsmanship, working in small editions of hand pulled lino prints. A fascination with urban life, specifically the temporal nature of it's built context informs her work. She draws inspiration from her work as an architect, street art and traditional Japanese
printmaking. She is currently exploring the legacy of Brutalist architecture in Scotland, capturing lost landscapes and those
whose future is uncertain.
