Corentin Halucha, a 25 years-old former French professional football player
turned artist, applies dedication and focus to his art in the same way he used to practice his sport.
He lives by his motto “The best way to predict the future is to create it”, which has inspired him to create contemporary abstract pieces.
Corentin’s work is rooted in the past, using the ancient technic of encaustic
painting, which makes use of heated beeswax mixed with coloured pigments. With this mix of an ancient medium and a definitively contemporary style he produces striking works with an emphasis on structure.
He is extremely meticulous and strives to control his medium (wax, heat,
colour) to form a piece that faithfully conveys his inspirations and ideas.
Corentin hopes you will appreciate these selected paintings.
