Damian Bisogni is an Australian artist who has exhibited both nationally and internationally for the past 30 years.

Damian’s work combines aspects of history, personal experiences, stories, songs, movies, popular contemporary culture, and everyday life. He blends abstract and semi-representational imagery to create his whimsical, child-like works on solid fields of colors, greys and off whites.

He uses his art to express observations, composition, and problem-solving, building layers of the medium upon another and then scratching (sgraffito) back into the surface to expose lyrical abstract imagery.
