Helen Baxter is a self-taught artist from Vancouver, BC Canada. She was first introduced to art at an early age by her father, who is a self-taught artist as well. She mainly works in watercolour, but she loves to experiment with acrylic and alcohol ink.
Most of her works are mountain landscapes and bird paintings, but most recently she has dabbled in floral abstract art with alcohol ink.
Each piece that she creates is done with the intention to bring happiness and joy. With her love for the outdoors and the
BC west coast, inspiration is all around her. Whether it is the beautiful mountains or the ocean, or the amazing array of wildlife, something beautiful to capture is always close at hand.
