Hilroy Bulgin was born in Somerton, St James in Jamaica and was educated at Cornwall College and the University of Technology, Jamaica. His artistic skill was recognized at an early age and he was encouraged by his art teacher Mr. Clyde Clarke to always practice and improve his art. In recognition of his work, he received regional and national trophies. His medium is acrylic and he is also influenced and was taught by artist Owen Beckford. Art exhibitions have included The Roman Catholic Art Fair in Mandeville, The Montego Bay Fine Art Festival, Liguanea Art festival in Kingston, Potters Fair Art Show, Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce Fund Raising Event and solo art exhibitions at the Round Hill Hotel & Villas and Sangsters International Airport where several pieces of his work were sold to discerning art collectors. Donations were also made to the Hanover Charities and Heinz Simonitsch School Silent Auction Fundraiser.
