A self-taught painter, Houda Boukba was born in Casablanca, Morocco in 1994.
Since her very early age she has been passionate about drawing and painting
She has always believed that art is the greatest expression of herself and is an escape from the stressful modern life. This is why, in 2012, she decided to separate her academic path from her artistic life.
In 2019, Houda obtained a master’s degree in International Relations and she is
currently working for an international organisation.
In order to inspire women all over the world, especially those from her hometown, Houda dedicated her first series of 10 paintings called “La femme rebelle… (The rebellious woman...)” to women empowerment.
For example, at the end of 2019, she exhibited her paintings on the occasion of the “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence”.
