Ishika is a self-taught abstract artist with a strong focus on expressionism. She is also a creative writer and a mum. She lives in London, originally from Bangladesh.
Ishika does not plan too much about her medium or palette; she allows her paintings to take her wherever they want to go! Acrylics, pastels, clay, or ink- all are included in her team.
She enjoys hiking in her spare time and many of her pieces are directly influenced by those hikes in nature. She is also inspired by myriads of things- people, memories, relationships, or even politics. Her aim is to depict the complications of life through a combination of color, texture, and symbolism.
Recently, much of her works have been influenced by the poets Robert Frost, Sylvia Plath, and Jibanananda Das. She enjoys creating poetry through her artworks.
