As a self-professed Maths geek, with a Mathematics degree and many years as a secondary school Maths Teacher, Jill has always enjoyed the objectivity of numbers and algebra. Jill loves the satisfaction of solving a problem and getting the answer "right". This, as well as many years of experimenting with different creative mediums, has brought Jill to abstract art. Abstract art can not be wrong! The irrationality and subjectiveness of this art form was a revelation for Jill.
Having recently moved from London to Buckinghamshire with her young family, Jill now loves to create colorful pieces that make people feel happy. Jill works predominantly with acrylic paint on stretched canvases but loves to experiment with different mediums. Her use of iridescent and fluorescent paint creates stand out pieces that have a dynamic and vibrant presence.
