I served as a Police Officer for 32 years and throughout that time I
could only explore my creative side in whatever spare time I had.
When I retired in 2017 I was able to give free reign to my artistic
abilities. I was initially drawn to Tiffany glass work, I also tried Line
and Wash painting and coloured pencil before discovering reduction
Lino printing which I realised is the medium for me. I find the
uncertainty of not knowing how a print will turn out until the carving
and application of ink is finished provides an element of excitement
I didn’t find with the other mediums.
I like to think that each print contains a little of me.
