Laura Sharp is a painter and teacher from Liverpool who takes inspiration from animals, people, patterns, and colours from different countries around the world, particularly India and Japan. Recently, she has been fascinated by mythical horses and unicorns with wings and the poetic messages of hope that they convey.

Laura graduated with a BA Hons in Art and Design from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2007. She has sold a variety of prints, textile pieces, and original paintings in shows such as New Designers in London, The Knitting and Stitching Show in Harrogate, The Festival of Quilts in Birmingham, and other smaller craft fairs around the country.

She primarily uses gouache paints on paper and canvas but also experiments with coloured inks, oil pastels, and textiles to create her artworks.
