Libby is a self-taught artist who has been painting and experimenting with colour since growing up in Melbourne, Australia. With her grandfather being an artist, art was a big part of her childhood and he would set Libby up with canvas and paints after school. Abstract art and mixed media is what she is drawn to and being creative for Libby is freeing yet also challenging. She loves to push herself in life and art does that for her – pushing the boundaries and challenging her to express and create.
Over the past 20 years Libby has dabbled in art courses, has raised a family, moved countries twice and having finally settled in Israel a year ago, has found the time and space to explore her art and creativity again. Libby's preferences are acrylics and paint pens on canvas, spray paint and any form of marking or symbol. At the same time, a wide variety of colour is used, but experimenting using darker techniques is on the cards too.
