Majlinda was born and raised in Albania. She was very fond on natural sciences but since she was a child, she always had this spiritual connection with art. She decided to study mathematics thinking that numbers can solve problems but what Majlinda realize was that numbers couldn’t free people’ soul and fulfill their hearts. As a self-taught painter, from a pencil to a brush she never stopped putting her feelings on a canvas through colorful paints, even when she moved to United States with all the challenges that emigration life “offered” her. She lives in Pennsylvania 12 years now and she favors working on acrylic and pyrography.
Her favorite quote that always inspired her is:” Art washes away the dust of every day’s life” by Pablo Picasso.
