Mamta Prasad is an author of book Running in circles – making ends meet. She dabbles in performance art, poetry and abstract art.
Her paintings are about creating a space to suit your mood. Our perception of colour is limited to it being reflected from the form it takes and the spectrum it falls into. But do we really see enough?
The aim is to observe the painting till the abstraction in it meets that place in your mind’s eye which expands into your conscience. The use of multiple colours is to give the viewer an experience of amalgamating the abstract with their cognition to
create a dreamscape that expands every time you look at it and every dimension you look at it from.
All in all the artist lets you choose if you see an illusion or a mirage.
