Maria Elena Luciani is an Italian visual artist, born in Bolzano in 1987. She finished her artistic studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice in 2012 and in 2014 she moved to Vienna, Austria. Between 2017 and 2018 Maria Elena spent almost eight months in Asia and Australia, living a crucial experience for her artistic work. For two years she has lived in Germany, near Munich, exhibits her works at art fairs and has greatly
strengthened her presence on the web, bringing her in contact with many new art collectors.
Her works embody the artist's profound connection with nature, celebrating its beauty and its priceless value. She loves to work with different mediums: from oil painting on canvas, to engraving, to painting on plexiglas combined with light effects. Maria Elena's vivid palette and rich compositions create images of animals, echoing the importance she places on making the planet more sustainable.
Maria Elena’s artworks are part of private collections all over the world. She has participated in exhibitions in many cities, including Milan, Venice, Rome, Turin, Berlin and Vienna.
