Pat comes from Manchester and has been painting and exhibiting for 30 years since she initially went to Adult Education Classes.
She is a passionate about the sea and water in general, whilst all her paintings are intensely colourful.
The subjects vary from Landscapes, Still Life through to Portraiture, where capturing a person's mood is her goal. She works in all media from acrylic ink, oil pastels through to oil bars and is now exploring collage and mixed media. She hopes to pursue more texture in her future work.
She has exhibited widely throughout the North of England and her paintings have been well received in her one-woman exhibitions at Bury Art Gallery and Museum, Rossendale Museum and Art Gallery, the Octagon Theatre, Bolton, The Haworth Art Gallery, Accrington and Dunham
Massey Hall, Altrincham.
She has been accepted for many National Mixed Exhibitions including Manchester Academy of Fine Arts, the Laing Exhibition and the Yorkshire Pastel Society, the EAC Over 60s Art Awards at the Royal Society of Painters, Birmingham, the Grosvenor Open Exhibition, Chester and has been
shortlisted 5 times for the Mall Galleries Open Exhibitions.
In December 2015 she won the Highly Commended and the People's Prize at the Bury Art Society Annual Exhibition.
She won the first prize in the Garstang Open Arts Exhibition in Lancashire
