Paul Kormashov (b.1989 in Tallinn, Estonia) is a Berlin-based painter. His work can be described as colourful abstractionism with hints of cubism, action painting, and urban themes. Kormashov comes from an established artistic family with many family members still active in the local art scene. From 2005 to 2008 he was studying in the art department of the renowned Old Town Educational College in Tallinn. From 2008 to 2013 he studied painting in the Pallas University of Applied Sciences in Tartu, Estonia. In 2012 Kormashov held his first solo exhibition in Tartu. Further shows followed in Võru, Estonia (2015), and Berlin, Germany (2016). He has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, most recently in 2019 in Berlin. Kormashov’s paintings feature in many private collection across Europe.
