Every single leaf is painted and burned on Japanese paper, in a humble attempt to reproduce its fragility.
One of the great lessons the fall of the leaf teaches us is this: do your work well and then be ready to depart when the time comes, but in the meantime focus on the present moment and consciously live it. In this painting I immortalize my positive emotions during a moment of time situated between the exuberant vitality of the end of the summer and a near future which is totally unknown.
