Knot, 2007 (Black and White Series). Landscape fine art print on Fine Art Smooth paper 300 gsm limited by a certificate of authenticity. The certificate of authenticity is signed by the artist.
The artwork was developed from the film more than 10 years ago. We did a lot of procedures including handcraft and AI enhancement to make this paint-like Art come true, from a low-resolution photo taken 13 years ago, and make it live again on textured fine art paper. It is not perfect, but the imperfection made it Art.
Story of Artwork:
This artwork was taken with my Nikon FM2 Camera in 2007, while hiking with friends in Guangxi, China. I remember I was so relaxing and happy at that time as traveling with buddies, even the weather was not great. When I look up to the sky, I can’t see the blue sky, but the Silhouette of the branches of trees is really catching my eyes. It feels like a traditional Chinese Ink painting.
The image just like a pattern of nature, like a web covering the sky, like a nightmare would happen ahead. But it’s static, harmonious, the future beyond darkness waiting to be revealed.
That's the story of this artwork.
