Ross Bek was born in Ecuador in 1980 and spent his childhood surrounded by culture permeated by ancient stories dating back to Inca times. At the age of 20, he moved to Italy, the motherland of his grandmother, where he could appreciate and know European Art. In particular, he fell in love with the work of Spanish artists like Dalì, Velazquez and El Greco. He attended art lessons in Italy to start his journey as an artist, then he continues learning experimenting with new techniques and styles. His research is mostly based on ancient techniques and materials that have been lost nowadays, as well as on geometrical figures and study of the space.
