Born in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, in 1978, my studies and professional career have been focused on interior design and photography, although I have always taken a keen interest in art and painting, trying different techniques and media such as acrylic, watercolour, oils or pencil and pastel drawings.
Currently, I create my works with acrylic paints, using different techniques: brush, spatula, gesso, gel and materials that provide volume and texture to my paintings. I like to experiment and I avoid sticking to a single painting technique. I relate more to abstract art than to figurative. Although my works are usually on the fine line in between, as many of them seem landscapes from above. At times I like to raise awareness on climate change with themes that evoke droughts, flooding or melting ice.
White, blue and earth tones prevail in my paintings, possibly influenced by the light and colours of my insular Mediterranean environment.
Nature is my endless source of inspiration
