Uyi Nosa-Odia (UNO), fondly called, "The ONE", is a Nigerian artist living in Luxembourg and has more than 10 years experience in painting and sculpture. Uyi trained at an early age as a sculptor with the UNESCO Heritage protected Igun Bronze Casters' Guild of Benin. He arrived in Luxembourg in 2017 and shortly after, establish himself as a versatile artist. He is a graduate of Painting & General Art (Auchi Polytechnic, 2006) and has a bachelors in Banking & Finance, (University of Benin, 2014).
His artworks are mostly abstract expressionism, richly didactic and socially progressive. He paints, sculpts, carves and comfortably expresses his artistic side through different techniques. He currently teaches drawing in the Red Cross project, Hariko and operates his art studio. Additionally, he works as an ICT & project manager for the organisation, Touchpoints ASBL, in Luxembourg city.
