I’m Zeynep Guler Ozgorus, a Turkish artist who works at her own studio in Turkey. I’ve started my professional painting career in 1998 as a self-taught painter without being dependent on any school.
My first solo exhibition was held in 2007. In 2016, I opened another solo exhibition with the subject of ‘Nature and Human’ in the Istanbul Levent Art Gallery. I held two solo exhibitions with the subject of 'Genuine Self' in Mustafa Ayaz Museum, Ankara and Aqua Florya, İstanbul. In 2017, I participated in the group exhibition ‘Spring Breeze’ in Gallery Idil, Istanbul.
I'm inspired by nature and humans. Everything I am impressed in my daily life is the subject of my paintings. I try to reflect the harmony of the instant changes of colors in nature with abstracted figures and unique brush strokes. The portrait is the subject that I am interested in and enjoy most to work on. I continue to work with many techniques, but I usually use oil paint, which optimizes texture and color.
